Well, they have finally started building the new house. We originally purchased our new house on March 13, 2004, after many months of delay, we switched our original 30' house to a new 36' house ("The Stewardson") back in January.
As of last week, they have dug the house and layed the footings for the foundation. There was small issue that the fireplace jog was located on the wrong wall, but a quick call to Deb our builder and it was corrected before the foundation walls are poured.
The foundation forms are now almost put up for the foundation walls. Looks like they will finish this and pour the foundation on Monday. By the end of the week we should have a full foundation completed and possibly even be backfilled.
